Built around what your business actually needs.

I build professional websites, practical business systems, and search improvements around how a real small business works. The goal is to look better, work harder, solve real problems, and make it easier for the right customers to find you.

I can also diagnose and improve an existing website or supported system before recommending replacement.

New-build starting prices

See the general range before the deep dive.

These are starting points, not fixed quotes. Repairs and improvements are scoped separately around the smallest useful solution.

Routine content and business updates stay under owner control wherever they fit the project. The controls match what the business actually needs without creating artificial maintenance dependency.

Starter Website

Starting at $1,000

For businesses that need a polished, credible place for customers to learn, trust, and get in touch.

WHAT IT CAN INCLUDE
  • Responsive custom website
  • Core business pages and offerings
  • Contact or inquiry flow
  • Mobile-first experience
  • Owner controls for routine content
  • Production launch support

Move up when: You need structured customer workflows or deeper owner controls. Payments, inventory, customer records, staff tools, or operational workflows move into a Business System.

Business Website

Starting at $3,000

For established businesses that need their website to do more than explain what they offer.

WHAT IT CAN INCLUDE
  • Expanded page and content structure
  • Structured owner CMS or Admin controls
  • Products, services, galleries, or testimonials
  • Pricing or availability controls
  • Custom quote, request, intake, or inquiry flows
  • Stronger lead routing and customer contact

Move up when: Customer submissions need to become tracked operational records with statuses, assignments, notes, history, reporting, staff workflows, or automation.

Business System

Starting at $5,000

For businesses that need a better way to run one primary part of the operation, not just present it online.

WHAT IT CAN INCLUDE
  • Custom Admin or internal dashboard
  • Order, request, or customer management
  • Inventory, availability, scheduling, or statuses
  • Internal notes and history
  • Reporting, exports, or notifications
  • Owner training and documentation

Move up when: Multiple operational areas need to work together through shared records, permissions, payments, integrations, customer accounts, or a connected public experience.

Connected Platform

Starting at $8,000

For organizations that need their public website and internal operations connected as one system.

WHAT IT CAN INCLUDE
  • Complete public website and advanced Admin
  • Authentication, staff roles, and permissions
  • Customer or member accounts
  • Payments, ordering, or registration flows
  • Connected records, inventory, fulfillment, and automation
  • Integrations, notifications, reporting, audits, training, and operating documentation

Scope note: This is custom platform work, not simply a larger website. Pricing grows with the number and complexity of the systems being connected.

Repairs: The initial conversation and a reasonable preliminary diagnosis are free. Extensive investigation gets an agreed scope and cost before billing; any diagnostic credit toward related repair work is confirmed in that agreement.

Larger projects can be split into milestone payments. Useful smaller phases and third-party charges can be discussed before work begins. Final pricing is scope-based.

Interactive experiences

SEE WHAT'S POSSIBLE.

Explore working demonstrations of the websites and business systems we build.

EXPLORE INTERACTIVE SHOWROOM

Fictional demonstrations. No real purchases, payments, customer records, or messages.

Clear working boundaries

Useful control without unnecessary dependence.

The exact access, portability, ownership, and handoff depend on the platform and services involved. Those boundaries are made clear before work begins.

HOW A PROJECT IS SCOPED

We start with the business problem, confirm safe access and constraints, and choose the smallest useful phase. A full replacement is not the automatic answer.

OWNER CONTROL & HANDOFF

Routine content and everyday updates should be in the owner’s hands. Depending on the actual business need, I build controls for website text, photos, products, pricing, availability, inventory, ordering status, waitlists, pickup or shipping, and customer or order statuses. Bigger features and structural changes can still be added later.

The site and system are built for your business. Wherever the platform supports it, you should control what you pay to build, with my support access only if you want it.

SEARCH & DISCOVERY

A professionally built HITS website launches with the technical search foundation that fits the project. That is different from ongoing Search Growth work.

Rankings, traffic, and AI recommendations cannot be guaranteed.

How I work

Start with how the business works.

You do not need to arrive with the whole solution figured out.

  1. 01

    Understand the work

We look at how the business works now and where the friction is.

  2. 02

    Plan what is needed

We decide what the customer and owner actually need.

  3. 03

    Build both sides

I build the public experience and owner tools around that workflow.

  4. 04

    Review, approve, and launch

You get a reviewable preview first. We test it, work through your feedback, make final adjustments, and only launch once you approve it.

Most website and business-system work can be handled remotely. For larger Business Systems projects, on-site discovery, implementation, or training may be considered when the work calls for it.

After launch

Support without lock-in.

You keep ownership and control of your website whether or not you choose an ongoing maintenance plan. Routine updates supported by the owner tools are meant to stay in your hands.

30-day launch warranty

Every completed website includes 30 days of launch warranty coverage for confirmed bugs directly related to the agreed delivered scope. If something HITS delivered is not working as agreed, I fix it at no additional charge during that period. This does not cover failures caused solely by third-party outages or platform changes, client modifications, or services outside the delivered scope.

Routine updates stay with you

Text, photos, pricing, hours, products, services, and other content already supported by the included CMS or Admin tools are designed for you to manage. You do not need a maintenance plan for those routine updates or to retain ownership and control of the site.

Basic Care · $69/month

Essential technical upkeep without included client-requested change time.

  • Technical health checks
  • Dependency and security maintenance where applicable
  • Backup verification where available
  • Troubleshooting of minor maintenance-related technical issues
  • No included client-requested change or content-assistance time
Business Care · $149/month

Technical care plus a practical monthly allowance for help.

  • Everything in Basic Care
  • Up to 1 hour per month of minor technical or content assistance
  • Priority over non-plan support requests
Priority Care · Starting at $299/month

For websites with custom workflows, operational tools, or greater technical complexity.

  • Everything in Business Care
  • Up to 3 hours per month of minor technical or content assistance
  • Higher response priority

If something HITS delivered is broken, HITS fixes it during the launch warranty. If you want something changed, expanded, redesigned, integrated, or newly built, that is new work and may require a separate quote.

How included support time works

  • Included time can be used for small content assistance, minor technical adjustments, troubleshooting, small configuration changes, or other limited help that does not materially change the delivered system.
  • It does not cover new features, major redesigns, new integrations, significant workflow changes, large content migrations or updates, or new pages and systems that amount to project work.
  • Unused monthly support time does not roll over to future months and has no cash value.
  • Work beyond the included allowance is never performed or billed automatically. I will contact you first and provide an hourly estimate or a separate project quote for approval.
  • Larger requests are scoped as separate projects instead of consuming maintenance-plan time.
  • Priority means requests are handled ahead of lower-priority or non-plan support when practical. It does not mean 24/7, emergency, immediate, or guaranteed response times unless separately agreed.

Support needs vary by project. Maintenance terms or pricing may be adjusted during the proposal process for unusually complex systems.

Maintenance-plan pricing does not automatically include third-party costs relevant to the project, such as domain registration, hosting or infrastructure, paid software, SMS or email usage, payment-processing fees, APIs, or other subscriptions. Required recurring costs that are reasonably known will be disclosed during the proposal or handoff, and those services remain in the client’s control wherever the platform supports it.

Common questions

A few things to know before you reach out.

Can you work with my existing website?

Sometimes. If the current site has a good foundation, we can improve what is there. I’ll look at what you have and what your business needs before recommending a rebuild.

Will I be able to update the site myself?

Owner control is the default. Routine updates like content, products, pricing, or availability can be put in your hands when they fit the project. We’ll decide which controls you actually need.

Do you build ordering, request, or Admin systems too?

Yes, when they solve a real problem. The public site can work with owner tools for requests or orders, products and services, availability, statuses, and useful dashboards.

Do I get to review the site before it launches?

Yes. You get a reviewable preview to test and give feedback on. We make final adjustments and only launch after you explicitly approve it.

How much does a project cost?

The prices above are starting points, not fixed packages. The cost depends on what your business needs. I’ll recommend the smallest practical solution that solves the problem.

Do I have to pay for the whole project upfront?

Smaller projects can be split into a deposit and final payment. Larger builds can be divided into milestone payments tied to agreed project stages. Scope and payment timing are established before work begins so both sides know what is due and when.

How long does a project take?

It depends on the scope, how ready your content is, feedback, integrations, and complexity. We’ll talk through a realistic timeline once we know what needs building.

Do I own the website and accounts?

Yes, that is the goal. Your website, domain, business data, important accounts, and owner access should be in your control wherever the platform supports it. I can keep developer access with your permission for support or future work, but you should not need me for routine updates. We’ll confirm the handoff details before launch.

Can you help after launch?

Yes. Every completed website includes a 30-day warranty for bugs in the agreed delivered scope. Ongoing maintenance is optional, and new features, integrations, redesigns, or larger changes are quoted separately.

Need something like this?

Tell me about your business.

Tell me what you sell, how things work now, and what is getting in the way. That is enough to start the conversation.
