Launched to the public
Current views from modestostrykerz.com show how families, players, and visitors experience the launched website across programs, events, apparel, uniforms, and fees.
Tryout → Approval → Registration → Forms → Fees → Player
The experience supports families with multiple children as well as adult players registering for themselves, while keeping each participant connected to the right household, program, season, and obligations.
The need
The public path guides a player or parent through each stage while staff keep the participant connected to the right program and season.
Built behind the scenes
These authentic pre-launch captures show the operational depth built before the public launch. They contain no current production records or private player, family, contact, payment, or account information.
The need
Durable player, contact, and household records preserve history while current-season participation stays clear.
Problem → solution
The system treats numbers as limited assignments within the relevant team and season, so staff can see conflicts before confirming both requests.

Sept. 23–24, 2026
The original simple preview shown to Kyto before the project expanded into a full club system. It deliberately proved the club identity and the three immediate needs without pretending the broader operating system had already been discovered.

Project snapshot
The challenge and direction
Modesto Strykerz FC already had an established identity, active programs, and a committed community. The challenge was the amount of connected work behind that growth: players and families, multiple teams and programs, payments, forms, uniforms, jersey assignments, season transitions, and public information.
Important operational knowledge lived across memory, messages, manual tracking, and separate processes. The goal was not to criticize that work. It was to turn what leadership already knew into infrastructure that could support the organization as it grew.
Important operational knowledge lived across memory, messages, manual tracking, and disconnected processes.
One connected platform now handles the customer-facing experience and the operational workflows behind it.
The customer experience
The production site connects Youth Academy and Semi-Pro program information, tryout applications, approval, registration, forms, fees, apparel, uniforms, and calendar events in one branded responsive experience.
The journey follows how families and adult players actually move through the organization: Tryout → Approval → Registration → Forms → Fees → Player. Square Production supports the live payment steps without turning the public site into a generic checkout.
The owner’s system
The protected Command Center is the operational side of the production platform. Authorized staff can move from players and households into payments, forms, jersey and uniform work, teams, seasons, content, and access controls without treating each task as a disconnected record.
Durable player and family records keep current-season participation connected to history. Operational audits, searchable records, permissions, and lifecycle controls make the system useful beyond the moment a form or payment first arrives.
Architecture / relationship visual
This is the operational spine behind the screens: each step adds context without breaking the history that came before it.
Important decisions and lessons
Hands in the Smoke did not invent or replace the Strykerz identity. The website translates the club's existing blue, black, white, and yellow visual language into a responsive experience that feels consistent with the organization families already recognize.
The crest and shield, athletic typography, field and stadium atmosphere, lightning accents, competitive youth-soccer energy, and the club's “bringing the thunder” personality all come from that established identity.
The smallest useful solution changed as the workflows became clear. The project expanded because the connected operating system earned its place—not because every client needs the same software.
Where the project stands
Modesto Strykerz FC owns its production domain and infrastructure. The platform runs on Cloudflare Workers with D1, R2, Cloudflare Access, and Square Production, while Hands in the Smoke retains authorized developer and support access.
The first preview became a production platform in approximately nine days. That speed came from focused workflow discovery and decisive iteration—not from skipping the operational details that make the system durable.
Hands in the Smoke is proud to support Modesto Strykerz FC as an official sponsor and technology partner.
